Gems are too expensive, objectives take too long to complete

Some of the objectives take FOREVER TO COMPLETE... "complete 1,000 Lifetime Runs" "Run 5,000,000 lifetime meters" Im getting bored with the game trying to complete them, and to unlock other maps is 500 GEMS. "Score 1,000,000 points in frozen shadows" cool I saved up enough gems and got it done... 2 objectives laters "Score 1,000,000 points in blazing sands" I just used all of my gems on Frozen Shadows and 650 gems in the store in $50! Im not spending that much money on an app.
