Unfair challenge resets

I have been a long time player of this game and have enjoyed it. However the latest challenge in Blazing Sands has me upset. I completed the challenge, went back in the next day to play a different level and saw my completion level went below the finished level that I placed. So I went back in and did it again. I was unable to play for a couple days and went back in the app today to find that the completion level went below the finished amount again, and I only got half the gems because of it. This happened before with the winter level, where I had to keep going back in and recompleting the challenge. Bad glitch in the game that costs in game play goals.
