K, so, I really like this game, its one of the best and its endless. I go by spells of how much I play it. The new update is wonderful, but it has some bugs. It gets all shaky and goes really slow a lot. Please fix! Also, a new map…of Middle Earth, like in Lord of the Rings would be amazing! And have all the people to run with…Frodo and Sam and Aragorn, etc. Like seriously, that would be ultimate. Like Temple Run: Oz, only Middle Earth and FREE! I will not pay for it. And Im the initial game, like a map, because that way its all in one app. Also…MAKE MORE OBJECTIVES!!!!!! So much more fun with them!

New version drops frames and stutters horribly, even on iPad Pro. And Its bad enough that they constantly add useless new runners (all runners appear to have same play, except for Bolt, but now making us collect useless tokens to unlock runners we neither want or need injects the developers fetish with collecting pointless things (runners. Hats. Etc.) into the basic gameplay. Just stop it already. Update: rather than admit to the issue, when I contacted support as the developer requested here, I got a form response asking for screenshots and what device I am using (despite me pointing them to the review). If you are giving the app 5 stars but your review complains of the massive stuttering, you arent doing anyone any favors - they wont notice until the complaints are more visible.

Fun but isnt running very smoothly any more since the latest update.

It alright I dont mind playing it every once in a while, but I wouldnt say its 5 star. Brings back some old fun memories.

Addicting. Always something to work for. I wish I could use the coins to buy diamonds though.

The latest revision (where tokens were introduced) has very jerky/stuttery animation, making it very hard to play. This is on an iPhone 6+ running the latest iOS, even after force-quitting all other apps Please fix this asap. Once you do, I will bump my rating back up to 5 stars

Gave this game a positive review after 4 years of my somewhat negative review being up there and it was taken off. Its as if someone is against themselves??? Now all you see is bad reviews. I like this new update, but after playing it a few days it does jitter a lot, and now for some reason Karma Lee runs with her arms flailing by her side in her shadows outfit. I also like the different runners via tokens. But given the quickness of the pull of my positive review, maybe someone in Imangi really hates this update!!?

Ive played this since its came out but since the last update, the ADS are really annoying, its like they have tripled. Love the water slide.. Needs more treasure chest and other objects to bring back excitement..Would like to know why you cant purchase other games in Temple Run 2 without using up all your Gems, its not like you accumulate them like you do coins. I think I have enough coins to unlock everything 10 times or $1.99 or maybe a little more. You no sooner get use to play one game and enjoy it but all of a sudden its only free for so many days and then you have to use 500 gems to unlock it. New Update would be Great to Play if it was so Sluggish and your turns or jumps are interrupted by this to where you die. Very Disappointed

The latest update has major performance issues. It used to run very smooth on my iPhone 6+, but now it drops frames like crazy and it misses coins in several situations, especially when running in fast mode with power ups. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!

The new update causes the screen to be shaking for 10 or more seconds that happens almost always with every character. Pls fix that.

After update game wont even launch. One of my challenges was 30 consecutive days, which is now ruined because cannot even open and play the game. If fix is not released immediately and credit given back for continuous days lost, will be deleting app entirely and never playing again. Have never seen such a horrible, worthless update on any game. Ever.

The app will not launch. I can no longer open the game.

I agree with cmaier; the new version drops frames and stutters horribly. Please fix this. Additionally, we are inundated with boxes, and gems are becoming less and less valued. Its all getting easier and instead of a solid game, we get more runners and more hats (to follow with cmaiers comments). Ive been playing since the first version Temple Run (not 2), and I still enjoy it, but I am slowly but surely starting to look for something else.
